Cookie Policy
Last updated [DATE]
This page describes the cookies and similar browser storage that the Tino application uses. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
Summary
Tino uses only strictly-necessary cookies and functional local storage. It does not use analytics, advertising, social-media, or cross-site tracking cookies, and it sets no third-party cookies. Because nothing we set is used for tracking or marketing, a consent banner is not required for the application under current EU/UK guidance; this may change if we add optional cookies in the future, in which case we will ask for consent first.
What we set
Strictly-necessary cookies
- Authentication / session cookie — set when you sign in, by our authentication provider, so the app knows you are logged in and can keep you signed in across pages. It is required for the app to function; blocking it prevents sign-in. It expires when the session ends or on sign-out. [Confirm exact cookie name(s) and lifetime with the auth provider before publishing.]
Functional local storage (not cookies)
These values live in your browser’s localStorage on your device and are never sent to our servers:
theme— remembers your light / dark mode choice.solene-column-order,solene-column-widths,solene-hidden-columns,solene-freeze-count,solene-group-by,solene-vessels-view— remember your table layout, sorting, and view preferences per report.
Clearing site data in your browser removes these; the app will fall back to its defaults.
The marketing website
The public tino marketing site is static content and self-hosted fonts. [State here whether the marketing site uses any analytics or embedded media; if it does, list it and provide an opt-out. As built, it does not.]
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will stop you from signing in to the application.
Changes
If we introduce optional cookies or any tracking technology, we will update this page and present a consent mechanism before those technologies load.
